Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with sculpted short light brown curly hair in boyish style and with modeled forelock, deep blue side-glancing intaglio eyes, painted lashes, closed mouth with defined teeth, dimpled cheeks, kid pin-jointed body, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (in square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: fine definition of modeling around eyes and face which is so rare to find on smaller sizes such as this.
