Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with heart-shaped face, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2033 BSW (in heart) 537. Comments: Bahr and Proschild for Bruno Schmidt, circa 1912, the model is known by collectors as "Wendy". Value Points: endearing expression, characterized by heart-shaped face, upturned nose, small eyes and full generous lips, antique costume comprising rose silk dress, undergarments, socks and kidskin shoes.
