The all-wooden doll has heart-shaped face and elongated throat, painted black hair with sculpted wooden tuck comb at her crown and painted curls framing the forehead, painted facial features, small brown eyes with defined eyeliner, tiny closed mouth, blushed cheeks, dowel-jointing at hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows. Condition: original finish with craquelure on face and back shoulderplate. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1820. Value Points: beautifully detailed hair, wearing original simple white cotton gown. Included is wooden washstand with drawer, and with softpaste washbowl and pitcher.
