Description
8" (20 cm.) Each has bisque socket head with sculpted hair and painted facial features, wooden body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted stockings and shoes, with grooves on undersides of feet for posing, and three with original performing costumes; included are two women (one with black hair, one with brown hair), and two men (one with black hair and one with brown, and each with matching sculpted moustache). Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, Schoenhut, circa 1912, from the Humpty Dumpty Circus. Value Points: included with the four bisque head acrobats is a painted eye Schoenhut poodle with carved mane, and wooden balancing stand, each from the Humpty Dumpty circus.
