31" (79 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12. Comments: French, circa 1865, attributed to Barrois. Value Points: rare exhibition size poupee with very beautiful delicately-complexioned bisque, sturdy original body, lovely antique pique costume and cream cashmere capelet, undergarments, shoes.
