22" (56 cm.) Each with wood-composite socket head and lower arms and legs, lightly-tinted complexion, glass inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth; the boy has brushstroke painted hair, and the girl with black human hair. Each is wearing original well-detailed costume with original obi. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Japan, early/mid-1900s. Value Points: outstanding original condition of the luxury costumes is wonderfully preserved.
