Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, very small brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined tongue tip, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some light body scuffing. Marks: 6 7679 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany (head) (Holz-masse stamp on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of modeling forming laughing crinkles around her eyes and mouth, original body and body finish.
