Polychromed terra cotta head with ebony black complexion, tightly-curled cropped hair, enamel eyes, strong facial features, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, blue stockings and black boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Neapolitan, mid-1700s. Value Points: fine state of preservation with well-detailed costume, fine sculpting.
