13" (33 cm.) Firmly-stuffed black cotton sateen doll with slight dimensional facial shape has embroidered eye whites with black shoe-button pupils, embroidered nose and mouth, stitched-on cap and boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, circa 1885. Value Points: nicely achieved folk art doll is wearing original costume.
