15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, commercial muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1079 Germany Halbig S&H 4. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: fine original state of preservation, the doll is wearing original Swiss traditional costume including unusual rare coiffe.
