Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) One-piece all-bisque head, torso and legs of cheerful faced toddler, blue glass inset googly eyes, long painted curly lashes, single stroke brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with beaded teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, loop-jointed bisque arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 222 16. Comments: Germany, marketed as "Our Fairy" by Louis Wolf, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful expression enhanced by very fine bisque and painting, antique costume, original paper label "Our Fairy".
