9" (23 cm.) Winter firm-sided sleigh with raised designs that are colorfully painted with cherubic scenes has metal runners and seat upon which is posed a paper mache St. Nicholas figure with painted features, white beard, armature body with flannel costume and black boots, holding feather tree. Very good condition. Circa 1890.
