15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast expression, accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 38. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model marketed as "Phillip" from their art character series, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine modeling with well-defined fretful lines, fine gleaming patina, original body and body finish.
