Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) largest. Each is all-bisque or all-porcelain one-piece figure with painted details, including oval-headed man with open mouth and ear holes having inscribed message "By the light of the silvery moon" (stamped Japan); bald pate man with holes in head for use as toothpick holder, wide open mouth, attributed to Schaefer & Vater; amusing little clown with black top hat; and bisque caricature figure with top hat and green bottle. Excellent condition. Circa 1910.
