Description
14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with mask pressed face, printed facial features, wide side-glancing eyes, "O" shaped frightened expression on lips, button nose, rosy cheeks, blonde mohair wig, sateen twill body with unique four-finger hands. Condition: very good, some costume fading, few tiny cheek rubs. Marks: original wrist tag "Licensed by Walt Disney Enterprises/Manufacture by the Knickerbocker Toy Co". Comments: Knickerbocker, circa 1934, the doll is wearing identical costume to that by Disney in the Silly Symphony short, "The Big Bad Wolf". Value Points: rarely found character doll from the early film series, few are known to exist.
