Description
9" (23 cm.) Plump bisque swivel head on plump torso, solid dome with painted baby hair, chubby cheeks, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, tinted brows, rounded button-shaped nose, closed mouth with tiny lips, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in bent baby shape, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c. 1924 by E.I. Horsman Made in Germany 38. Comments: "Tynie Baby", circa 1924, Horsman. Value Points: shy yet fretful expression is most endearing, enhanced by blush details on cheeks, knees and feet.
