19" (48 cm.) All-wooden doll with socket head, oval slender face with very full cheeks and strong nose, painted dark blue eyes with darker blue iris rims, black upper eyeliner, lightly-feathered brows accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the pale downcast lips, blonde mohair wig, wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for posing. Condition: generally excellent, wig not original. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat Jan. 17, '11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 311, the 19" size was made for one year only in 1912. Value Points: very rare model with well-preserved original finish, cotton dress is likely original, original undergarments and Schoenhut shoes.
