All-wooden doll with socket head, carved facial features, deep intaglio pale blue eyes, pronounced pupils and white eye dots, dark upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, softly rounded nose, closed moth with four small painted teeth and single red accent line between the pale lips, dimpled chin and philtrum, blonde mohair wig, wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for posing, wearing plaid cotton dress which may be original, original undergarments and stockings, replica Schoenhut shoes. Condition: excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17, '11. USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 315, the model was made in this one size only, and for only four years, 1912-1916. Value Points: rare doll has very fine original finish, especially fine detailing of eyes and soft cheek blush.
