Description
15" (38 cm.) Homespun cloth doll with beaded detail of facial features, stitched-on hair, simply-shaped cloth body costumed in buckskin with elaborate detail of fringe, bead work and tin funnel accents. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: created by artist Bill and Kathy Brewer, early 1990s, depicting traditional doll of the Kiowa Apache. Value Points: fine artistry honoring the skills of the earlier Native American crafts is well preserved.
