Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with sculpted bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with rich spiral-threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, tongue tip, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms and hands, Chevrot hinged hips, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 2 (head) No 2 Bru Jne (shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1884. Value Points: very beautiful face enhanced by splendid eyes and desirable "tongue tip" modeling, very sturdy body, wearing antique lace and voile gown and bonnet and including additional antique clothing.
