20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, mauve eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 9 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body stamp). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful glowing bisque, special luxury features of the tete model include modeled ears, very deep eyes, and rich eye shadow.
