26" (66 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Jumeau 12 (incised and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: fine quality bisque and painting on the signature bebe, especially fine body with original finish.
