Description
15" (38 cm.) including hat. 17" x 6" case. Paper mache head with painted facial features and brown hair with extended sideburns, outlined brown eyes, closed mouth, stubble shadow of beard, firmly-stuffed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, mid-1800s. Value Points: presented in original paper lined case with ink-script insignia at base indicating Marechal (and then illegible), the Marshal is wearing elaborately-detailed regimental uniform with medals, epaulets, bicorn hat and with two swords.
