Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) doll. Heavy cardboard double-sided paper doll is demurely posed on self-base labeled "Journal des Jeunes Personnes, Rue Coquillierie 22". Her arms are folded neatly into her torso, allowing a wide variety of arm poses in the 13 double-sided original costumes that are included. Excellent condition, beautifully detailed costumes with strong colors. France, circa 1850s, the doll and costumes were presented in the French Journal des Jeunes Personnes at that time.
