14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with early three-seam head, firmly-stuffed and oil-painted head, painted brown hair with forelock curls, painted brown eyes with shaded detail, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs with wide hips, separately-stitched thumbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 10945. Comments: Kathe Kruse, the Type VII model known as "Kleines du Mein", the petite doll was made from 1927-1930 as a smaller version of the earlier 17" Type I model. Value Points: both in size and facial expression, the doll remains one of the most beloved Kruse models.
