Description
10" (25 cm.) Each is all-composition, with socket head, painted very large brown or blue side-glancing eyes, painted lashes, closed mouth with rosebud-shaped lips, five-piece composition body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Effanbee Patsyette Doll. Comments: Effanbee, circa 1935, the pair were exclusively designed costumes for the May Company department store celebrating the bicentennial birthday of George Washington. Value Points: pristine condition, each with original elaborate white mohair wig and organdy and felt costume in the late 18th century.
