Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes with thick black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, brunette mohair wig in braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, few light wig pulls at back of head. Marks: K*R 114 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, their model marketed as "Gretchen". Value Points: excellent definition of expression is achieved by well-modeled crinkles and shaping of lips.
