17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with plump rounded face, delicate complexion, brilliant cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the primly-shaped lips, unpierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely plump torso, jointing at shoulders, bisque arms to above the elbows, cupped fingers, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, attributed to Blampoix, circa 1860. Value Points: very expressive features unusual on this era poupee, with finest bisque, brilliant eyes, original body with perfect bisque hands.
