Description
19" (48 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead with plump rounded face, black sculpted hair with wide centerpart and waved behind the sculpted ears into uniform finger curls, well-defined eye sockets with painted brown downcast eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, painted lower lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pertly-shaped lips and chin, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body with some age spotting. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rarer brown eyes and very fine modeling of eye sockets, dimpled and chin.
