Description
10" (25 cm.) doll. 17" x 14" basket. Bisque socket head, brown glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open, outlined lips, fleeced hair, composition baby body. The baby is presented in a wicker layette with lace lining and silk bows, lavishly filled with toys and accessories including small pieced silk quilt, celluloid duck rattle, lamb, little spotted pup, baby brush, rattle, soap baby, all-bisque baby in fitted presentation box, some additional costumes, and with carrying strap embroidered "Baby". Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915.
