8" (20 cm.) Each has one-piece bisque head and torso, loop-jointing at shoulders and hips, brown glass sleep eyes and brunette mohair wig; included is doll with painted white socks and black shoes, closed mouth with slight smiling expression, wearing antique romper suit (tiny chip on left shoulder); and doll with knee-high pink painted stockings and one-strap shoes, with original Kestner crown label on chest and marked 150 2 1/2 (tiny flake on pinkie tip of right hand). Germany, Kestner, circa 1900, two wonderful all-bisque dolls with variation of expression.
