Description
20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, brown downcast eyes, black upper eyeliner, one-stroke short brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center line between the wistful-shaped lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent except wig pulls at back of head. Marks: K&R 101 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, their art character model marketed as Marie. Value Points: very fine deep modeling of character features.
