Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, white mohair wig, cylinder-shaped torso which contains music box and which is attached to a wooden handle. When the toy is twirled about, music plays. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4200 S (pb in star) H. Comments: attributed to Zinner and Sohne, head by Schoenau and Hoffmeister, circa 1890. Value Points: well-preserved toy, with original wig and silk costume, functions well.
