14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with single-seam swivel head, pressed and oil painted facial features and brown hair with swirling curls onto forehead, green/brown shaded eyes, dark black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast expression, slender body, stitch-jointed arms, disc-jointed legs, wearing antique brown knit boy’s short pants and jacket, white shirt, socks, and brown shoes. Condition: original finish is well preserved on head, tiny rubs on nose and left cheek, some wear on hands. Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1930, the model is identified as Type X. Value Points: scarce model with well-painted features.
