15" (38 cm.) Composition socket-head, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, smoky eyeshadow, bow-shaped closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, five-piece composition body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mme. Alexander (doll), W.A.V.E. Madame Alexander (costume). Comments: Alexander, circa 1943. Value Points: in pristine, unplayed with condition, in original box, the doll wears original navy blue cotton uniform with brass buttons, blue and white cap with eagle trim, shoes and socks, slip and panties, and carries shoulder satchel.
