12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with very high domed forehead, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with pursed lips, brunette mohair wig with coiled side braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.P. 217 30. Comments: Catterfelder Puppenfabrick, circa 1910, from their art character reform series. Value Points: the rarity of the model is rivaled by her captivating appearance, with choice bisque, well-modeled features, original body and body finish, wearing original Scottish costume and accessories with matching tam, red leather shoes.
