Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes in defined eye sockets, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig in long braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.P. 217 30. Comments: Catterfelder Puppenfabrick, circa 1910, from their art character reform series. Value Points: few examples of the model exist, this example in pristine original condition, with beautiful bisque, original body and body finish, original wig, original cream silk dress with blue silk ribbon trim to match hair ribbons, undergarments, socks and shoes.
