Description
17" (43 cm.) Pink-tinted poured wax shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, tinted brows and lips of closed mouth, inserted blonde mohair hair, softly-stuffed cloth body with poured wax lower arms and legs in matching pink-tinted tones. Condition: generally excellent, slight fading of lips. Comments: English, in the Pierotti manner, circa 1880. Value Points: the doll is wearing a superb original gown of quilted ivory silk with lace overlay, contrasting with rose and lavender panels and ruffled trim.
