Pale blonde hair in elaborate original coiffure with intricate arrangement of curls and braids at her nape held in place by snood, hand-painted details of brows, eyeshadow and lower lashes. Wearing tagged fitted gown of embroidered ecru lace with high neck and fitted sleeves, designed with a pale peach taffeta ruffled skirt with train, taffeta petticoat slip, panties, net hose, peach satin shoes, embroidered tulle purse with brass frame, pearl drop earrings and woven bonnet of Italian straw with lavish flowers. Excellent condition. Alexander, 1951, original Fashion Academy gold foil tag, outstanding attention to costume detail, porcelain-quality complexion. The very rare doll, coiffure and costume are remarkably preserved.
