Description
17" (43 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead turned to the right, blue glass spiral threaded eyes with darker blue iris rims, brown eyeliner, tinted brows, closed mouth, blonde mohair inserted hair, softly-stuffed muslin body, poured wax lower arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, attributed to Pierotti, circa 1875. Value Points: wonderfully preserved, with pleasing honey tone complexion and original body, the doll is wearing her original aqua silk gown with matching Charlotte cap, undergarments, and aqua shoes.
