Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, two square-cut upper teeth, one square-cut lower tooth, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, blue stockings to mid-thighs, black two-strap shoes with heels and sculpted bows. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest pin flake on lower right eye rim. Marks: 886 S 5 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare large all-bisque with very beautiful face, wearing beautiful antique aqua dress and matching bonnet, included is doll trunk and various costumes and costume elements.
