Carved bone head and shoulders with well-defined facial features including gentle enigmatic smile, carved wooden torso and arms with dowel-jointing at shoulders and elbows, carved bone hands, hollow paper mache skirt, and posed upon a gilt wooden pedestal. Very good condition. Continental, early 1800s.
