18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes with "dot" highlights, mauve blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely silk twill antique dress with unusual triple-box-pleated skirt, lace jabot and cord edging, matching decorated woven bonnet, undergarments, tan shoes impressed with full figure of doll by Alart. Condition: generally excellent, body is not original but is appropriately sized and of the same era. Marks: A 9 T. (head) Le Petit Parisien(body). Comments: Thuillier, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful bebe with well defined facial features, lovely bisque and expression.
