Porcelain shoulderhead with lightly-pink tinted complexion, plump face, painted blue down-glancing eyes, thick upper eyeliner, very delicately-painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, accented eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully-articulated body with swivel waist, articulation at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Huret stamp on kid collarette). Comments: Adelaide Huret, circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful painting of eyes on the softly blushed luminous porcelain of the rare poupee, desirable fully-articulated wooden body, fine antique blue silk twill costume.
