17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump cheeks, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full outlined lips, ears pierced into her head, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, stretched-kid-over-wooden torso, upper arms and lower legs, shapely torso, painted brass upper arms, bisque forearms with individually sculpted fingers, "baggy" kid coverings over wooden upper legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E [?] G. Comments: circa 1865, exclusive commissioned model, the poupee has the rare body style deposed by Marie Emmanuel Cruchet in 1862. Value Points: very beautiful and different facial model with expressive features, choice bisque and painting, very rare body style, and wearing exquisite antique silk costume, undergarments, leather boots, folding fan, silk parasol with lace borders, fancy bonnet.
