Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, full cheeks, blue glass enamel inset eyes with shaded coloring, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Schmitt pate, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and flat-cut derriere. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sch (in shield) 000. Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1880. Value Points: a most precious petite bebe with compelling expression, splendid eyes, original body and body finish, beautiful silk costume.
