Description
Of finely woven linen the fabric is a fine pattern of navy and shadow blue checkered design, presented as two-piece ensemble comprising a fitted bodice extending into flared panels over the hips, and with V-shaped deep collar and ruffled sleevelets. With matching skirt. Both pieces decorated with bold white feather stitching. The inner waist band is stamped Huret a Paris. Excellent condition. French, Adelaide Huret, circa 1860.
