15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, delicately-painted lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing of hips, kid-over-wood dowel-jointing of knees, wooden arms with jointing at shoulders and elbows, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1867. Value Points: lovely brilliant eyes contrast the pale complexion, rare body style with wooden articulated arms.
