Description
15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead with pink-tinted bisque, painted blonde short boyish hair with sculpting highlights, painted facial features, narrow squinting dark blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, short-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in sculpted crying expression with defined gums and tongue, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms, antique schoolboy costume with slate board. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910, the model 7134. Value Points: among the rarest of the Heubach characters, having superb detail of sculpting featuring defined scowl lines in forehead, and cheek frown indentations, very fine bisque and painting.
