17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full outlined lips, blonde mohair curly wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 149 5. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with most expressive petulant air achieved by her beautiful large lips, finest quality of bisque with beautiful original body and wig and wearing lovely antique costume of blue velvet.
